NTP MANAGER (MEDICAL OFFICER – 1 POSITION)
Overall Purpose:To ensure strong performance of the TB program activities components under the consolidated Rounds 8 and 9 Grant, The NTP Manager is required to lead, implement, manage, monitor & evaluate and report planned activities. These activities must be implemented within the allocated budget and timelines in achieving targets specified in the implementation plan and performance framework (PF).
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Recognized Bachelor in Medicine and Bachelor in Surgery (MBBS) with experience including financial, administration and programme management coupled with demonstrable planning skills, ideally within a public health setting;
- Minimum of 5 years Post-Registration with Fiji Medical Council;
- Post-graduate qualification in business administration or public health or Infectious Diseases is essential;
- Able to read and interpret basic X-Ray pathologies;
- High degree of computer literacy;
- Ability to lead and manage an eight (8) member multi-disciplinary team;
- Proven networking, communication and coordination skills;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in the English language, including well-developed report writing skills;
- Good financial management and analysis skills;
- Good cultural skills and the ability to work as part of a team;
- Proven ability to function effectively in a high-pressure/high workload environment;
- Demonstrated programme monitoring and evaluation skills, ideally within a public health sector setting.
SALARY: Approx. FJD $4,500 gross per month Tentative Start date: By 1 May 2010
