EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
OPERATION OF CANTEEN AT ST GILES HOSPITAL
The Board of Visitors of St Giles Psychiatric Hospital (BOV)invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from interested individuals or businesses to operate the hospital’s canteen.
Scope of Services
The successful applicant will be required to:
- Provide affordable, nutritious, and hygienically prepared food and beverages according to the Ministry’s Healthy Catering Guideline
- Operate during hours suitable for hospital staff, patients, and visitors.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
- Comply with all relevant regulations and legislations.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should:
- Have prior experience in food service or retail operations.
- Demonstrate financial and operational capability.
- Be able to meet all regulatory requirements, including food handling and business permits.
Submission Requirements
Interested parties must submit:
- A cover letter outlining their experience and suitability.
- A business proposal, including proposed menu, pricing, hours and days of operation and proposed rental rates/month.
- Relevant valid business certifications or permits.
- Contact details of at least two referees.
**Please note that monthly rental rates must be comparable with current market rates.
