Monitoring and Evaluation

Monitoring and evaluation is an ongoing process on which GMU looks at inputs and relevant activities carried out by relevant SRs and IUs and to ensure that all planned activities is on track to achieve intended output as per Performance Framework. The processes enable GMU to track the progress of implementation and at the same time identify possible risks and other external factors that have potential to affect the success of the Programme. One importance outcome of this process is that SRs and IUs will be able to detect any risk at an early stage and should be able to developed strategy to addressed certainly problems arose from any Monitoring and evaluation exercise carried out by the Unit. Also critical in the M&E portfolio is the formation of the M&E Technical working Group to be an advisory arm of the program which it will be populated by M&E technical people from the respective SRs and IUs.

    • Divisional monitoring visit to Lautoka Divisional Hospital
    • Drafting Terms of references for the M&E Technical Group
    • Monthly visit to relevant SR and IUs.
    • Undertake Training on reporting with SR and IUs.
    • Finalizing national Monitoring and Evaluation Plan [ in process]

      Upcoming Events

        • Divisional Visit to Labasa [Late June]
        • Organize monitoring and evaluation training for all SRs and IUs M&E officer. [3rd quarter]
        • Joint monitoring [Late July]

          Apart from this, monthly visit to SRs and IUs (if necessary) will be an ongoing activity.
