A total of $5000 can be requested from the National Health Research Committee and the Fiji National Research Ethics Review Committee. This is done together with the application for approval.
If divisional studies are done, approval is obtained from the research committees there (Cent- East and Western Health Research Committee) who then advice the National Committee of the decision.
Funding can never be sought from the Divisional Research Committee.
