This year marks the 38th anniversary of this vital day—an important opportunity to spotlight the crucial roles of leadership and community engagement in fighting HIV/AIDS.

2025 Global Theme: “Overcoming Disruption, Transforming the AIDS Response”
Fiji’s Focus: “Healthy Islands, Healthy Futures: Ending HIV Together”

This powerful theme emphasizes the importance of collective action and multisectoral collaboration to advance HIV prevention, treatment, and support. Our shared goal: Eradicate HIV/AIDS and build healthier communities across Fiji.

  • March Procession:
    From Flea Market to Sukuna Park

  • Official Commemoration:

    11:45 am – 1:00 pm
  • Community Health & Support Services:
    At Sukuna Park
    10:00 am – 4:30 pm

  • Engage Parliamentarians and promote HIV testing
  • Participate in “Wear Red” and “Red Ribbon” campaigns during the week
  • Attend the commemorative event at Government House to raise awareness and strengthen cross-sector commitment
