CWM MEDICAL STAFF TRAINED ON BREAST FEEDING AWARENESS.

23 medical staff including doctors, midwives, nurses and volunteers have been trained on breastfeeding who will now assist in creating awareness amongst mothers on proper breastfeeding techniques.

This is one of the Ministry’s initiatives on Breastfeeding Week this year; to educate mothers on the benefits of breastfeeding on their visits to the hospitals for checkups.

Working mothers have been asked to discuss with their employers on the possible time allocations to breastfeed their babies.

Furthermore, the mothers could also bottle-feed their babies with breast milk as it can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three months.

Meanwhile the CWM hospital now offers a newly renovated room to cater for mothers to breastfeed their babies comfortably.
